Hi, I’m Vlad.

I spent four years pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Biomedical Specialization.

Upon graduation, I carried three things with me:

  • A broad technical foundation of core engineering topics
  • $170,000 in student loan debt
  • A clear ambition to work in the medical device industry, but very little practical preparation to support my vision

Universities are exceptional at teaching fundamentals, theory, and problem-solving techniques. However, I entered the medical device industry only to realize that the skills, frameworks, and realities of medical device development weren’t taught in the classroom. What I know today came from experience—trial and error, startup challenges, and hard lessons learned inside real medical device organizations.

How My Work Benefits You

Timely Founder was created to bridge the gap between university curricula and industry knowledge demands.

I write for:

  • Students who are eager to enter the med-tech space with clarity and confidence
  • Early-stage founders who are developing their technology and are seeking to understand the medical device lifecycle and its associated regulatory expectations

My work focuses on the parts of medical device development that are typically learned only after entering the industry – often through costly mistakes.

With every article, my intention is simple:

Provide clear, practical, industry-grounded insights you can apply instantly.

You can expect discussions on topics like:

  • Risk analysis and systems thinking
  • Regulatory and quality fundamentals
  • Medical device development strategy
  • Project management and execution
  • Preparing for a career in medical device development

This content is not a substitute for formal education. It is designed to complement your university studies and accelerate your transition into the dynamic field of medical device development.
